Our warranty

Every Diamant L'Éternel piece is guaranteed against defects in materials and craftsmanship.

Covered: manufacturing faults, failed solder joints, defective clasps, and settings that fail under normal wear.

Not covered: normal wear such as rhodium plating wearing thin or a band thinning over years; accidental damage, impact or crushing; loss; and any work carried out by another jeweller.

This warranty sits alongside your statutory rights, which it does not affect.

Diamond certification

Certified diamonds are supplied with an independent grading report describing the stone's carat weight, colour, clarity and cut.

Keep this report with your purchase documents. It is what an insurer will ask for, and what establishes the identity of your stone.

Natural and lab grown

We sell both, and we always say which is which. A lab grown diamond is a real diamond: the same crystalline carbon, the same hardness, the same brilliance. The difference is origin — grown in a laboratory over weeks rather than formed in the earth over millions of years. Neither is an imitation, and we never describe one as the other.

Hallmarking

Our gold is hallmarked according to the standard for its carat — 375 for 9 carat, 585 for 14 carat, 750 for 18 carat. The mark is your independent confirmation of the metal's purity.

Insurance and valuation

We recommend insuring any significant piece under your home contents policy or a specialist jewellery policy. Keep your invoice and grading report together, and photograph the piece. If you need a valuation for insurance purposes, contact us.
